My name is Fernando. I am an organizational scientist and Associate Professor of public administration at El Colegio de México. I was born in Mexico City in 1984. I did my undergraduate studies in Mexico and Spain, and my MSc and PhD in The Netherlands. I am interested mainly in public policy implementation, corruption, professionalization and bureaucratic pathologies in government organizations.

This workshop presents the principles of lean management for the public sector. Specifically, it introduces the notion of quality management as public value procurement, and presents a series of tools for analyzing and improving organizational processes.
